ANTHONY Malbon’s classic counter-attack goal helped pave the way for Kidsgrove’s impressive FA Cup victory.
After a goalless first half it was the visitors who struck first, with patient build-up play seeing the ball squared to Kyle Diskin to thunder in an unstoppable effort. Some sides would have been content to sit on their lead but Kidsgrove pushed on, their reward coming on the counter when Malbon fired home after being put in by Chris Budrys.
But Grove faced a nervous finale when Mossley’s Max Leonard tucked in a 90thminute penalty, awarded by the line...
