ADRIAN CLIFTON has warned League One high-flyers Portsmouth to expect an uncomfortable afternoon from the moment they pull into Maidenhead United’s humble York Road stadium on Saturday lunchtime.
The home of the Magpies is recognised by both the Football Association and FIFA as the oldest senior ground in the world continuously used by the same club.
Steeped in history it may be but York Road won’t have hosted many bigger than the visit of the League One leaders and 2008 FA Cup winners, together with their huge away support.
