HARTLEY Wintney are counting the cost of an attempted robbery and break-in at their Green Lane home on Wednesday night.
Improving the infrastructure has been an ongoing community project for The Row and has proved integral in their back-to-back promotions to the Evo-Stik Southern Premier South Division.
But damage to the outbuilding and pitch, driven across by means of a getaway, has set back the efforts of the club’s hard-working volunteers.
