LAST Wednesday night, just 79 people paid through the turnstiles to see Hitchin Town beat Tring Athletic 2-1 in the Hertfordshire Senior Cup. Today, an all-ticket crowd of around 3,000 will throng to Top Field to see the Canaries take on Solihull Moors in the first round of the Emirates FA Cup.
Ah, the magic of the Cup and all that.
