Bristol Manor Farm headed back up the M5 with a place in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup after a thoroughly convincing victory over Bridgwater Town at Fairfax Park yesterday
Although Bridgy were often on the back foot, it took a fluke and a breakaway goal late on with the home keeper at the wrong end to clinch the deal for Farm.
Robins’ lethal strike force, which had scored 17 goals in three games including a stunning victory over Western League favourites Plymouth Parkway, were feeding on scraps for large parts....
