DEFENCES were well on top as Tamworth held National North side Hereford at The Lamb.
Though there was no lack of energy and endeavour from both sides, chances were scarce during the opening 45 minutes.
Greg Kazboni’s neat turn created an early opportunity for Tamworth but his low shot was too weak and Hereford keeper Brandon Hall was untroubled.
The Bulls started to impose themselves on the game, enjoying plenty of possession and Jordan Nicholson’s deflected effort was gathered by Lambs keeper Jas Singh.
