ALTRINCHAM and their FA Cup love affair is the stuff of legend, but for long-serving defender Shaun Densmore it’s even closer to home.
The 31-year-old has been at Alty since 2008 and is approaching 400 appearances for the National League North club. In that time he’s experienced the pain of injury and relegation as well as the highs of promotion.
But he’s yet to personally be involved in a great FA Cup run – something dad Peter, who played for the Robins in the 1980s, does hold over him.
