KETTERING cruised to a fine victory over Chelmsford with Paul Cox’s new-look side out-muscling their visitors from the first minute.
The Poppies’ strength was clear to see from the off with Lorne Bickley cushioning the ball in his path before shooting just over on three minutes.
Clarets skipper Anthony Church launched a longrange effort on 13 minutes in a rare venture forward for the visitors. Sam Jones also went close before Bickley opened the scoring on 41 minutes, turning in Connor Kennedy’s initial shot.
