SOUTH Shields’ dreams live on after late drama on their travels to Shildon AFC.
With the tie locked at 1-1 and seemingly destined for a replay, seconds after heading against a post, Darius Osei curled in an 84th-minute cross which deceived everyone and went in via an upright.
Seconds later, Shildon keeper Shaun Newbrook was dismissed in an off-the-ball incident forcing outfield player Bobby Moore between the sticks.
And the stand-in custodian was beaten in stoppage time as former Sunderland defender Blair Adams stole in to finish.
