■ SPALDING substitute Marcus Maddison’s swift impact helped to ensure there was no upset in the West Midlands.
Maddison stepped off the bench to whip in a cross that caused havoc, Stefan Broccoli eventually heading home from close range within two minutes of the second half starting.
Tividale enjoyed the better of the latter part of the first half, Lewis McPike forcing a strong stop and Brad Welding bringing out the best from goalkeeper Michael Duggan in the build-up to the interval.
