SIMEON JACKSON’S overhead-kick saw Chelmsford City progress past Enfield Town.
The first half was one of few chances. City captain Tom Wraight went the closest for either side as he cannoned an effort off the crossbar from around 20 yards.
The Clarets came out from the break with much greater intent and thought they had put themselves a goal ahead inside ten minutes.
From a tight angle, Jackson slid a shot in which was cleared away but the referee adjudged the ball to have not crossed the line.
