MALVERN Town clung on to seal their place in the next round and earn bragging rights over local rivals Worcester City.
Two goals in four minutes from Jack Horrell and Ben Hayes gave the Hillsiders some breathing space at the break before Demetri Brown halved the deficit to set up a pulsating finale.
Town took the lead against the run of play on 23 minutes when City failed to properly deal with Hayes’ cross and Horrell swept in the opener.
