BRIGHTLINGSEA Regent won their first FA Cup game in four years, with a comfortable victory over Eastern Counties League Premier Division Mildenhall Town.
The Isthmian Premier side were in control of proceedings from start to finish and the game was as a contest three minutes after half-time.
Regent started extremely strongly and went ahead after 14 minutes.
Connor Barnby’s driving run towards and shot from the edge of the penalty box was aided past Hall keeper Josh Pope by a wicked deflection.
