STEVE IVES has completed an immediate return to Tunbridge Wells to take over as manager of the Southern Counties East Premier side in their hour of need.
Ives had been assistant to boss Luke Carpenter last season, the pair having taken Wells to an eighth-place finish.
However, Ives quit earlier in the summer to take over as manager of Southern Combination Premier outfit AFC Uckfield for the third time – but is now back after Carpenter resigned from Wells just nine days before the new season kicked off.
