IN a game where defences were on top, Magpies goalkeeper Bert White impressed the most.
The game started well for Wimborne, forcing a couple of saves, but Paulton grew into the game as the first half went on, having a couple of shots on target.
Wimborne’s best chance of the half came as Harry Baker glanced a header wide just before half-time.
