■ TWO GOALS from Caine Winfarrah and late strikes from Adam Drury and Tom Hipwell handed Grimsby Borough a 4-2 victory at home to Melton Town to take them through to the first qualifying round.
But the win was not without controversy, Borough boss Danny Bennett being sent off at half-time and Melton’s Tom Mason then seeing red in the second period.
Winfarrah’s opener came on ten minutes with Tom Wakley levelling nine minutes later before Greg Mills gave the visitors the lead from the spot on the stroke of half-time.
