CAMBRIDGE City cruised past a stalling Leighton Town at Bell Close to progress through to the FA Cup 2nd qualifying round.
City took less than 20 minutes open the scoring. Brad Rolt slipped through the middle, capitalising on poor defending, and beat the onrushing Xavi Comas with ease. Leighton’s Louie Barratt went close on 36 minutes with Town’s first effort. He was unfortunate to see his powerful strike rattle the woodwork.
