VETERAN striker Jake Robinson struck twice to send Worthing through and knock out his former club Whitehawk.
The Step 3 Hawks can take a lot of solace from this gripping, often nail-biting clash between two Sussex foes.
National League South outfit Worthing were favourites on home turf, but were given a stiff examination by their Isthmian Premier opponents.
This was a cup-tie that, for all its drama, could easily have drifted the other way.
It was Whitehawk who struck the first blow.
