THE manager of Northern Counties East Division One new-boys Dearne & District, Jason Blunt, has quit after their two opening games of the season.
Blunt, the former Leeds United and Doncaster Rovers player, led the club to promotion from the Central Midland Alliance last season.
They drew their first Step 6 game 1-1, at home to Swallownest last Saturday, and then won 4-2 at Dronfield Town on Tuesday.
Blunt said that he wanted to give more time to his I2I International Soccer Academy and other coaching positions.
