A TOUGH West Yorkshire derby was officiated excellently by Gavin Scott both sides looked for their first victory of the NPL East season.
The visitors started brightly, with Kyle Trenerry in the home goal reacting quickly to save from Adam Watson.
A first half of few chances ended with an excellent save by Ossett’s Ally Hughes as he tipped over a curling effort from Niah Payne.
In the second half, Ossett’s Eddie Church went close against his former side, before Hughes again saved well.
