THERE was nothing to separate Ashington and Bishop Auckland in their entertaining televised advert for North East non-league football early yesterday after noon.
Louis Johnson hit a first-half opener for the Two Blues. However, that strike was cancelled out by a moment of brilliance by Cyril Giraud.
The former West Allotment Celtic, Consett, Thornaby and Newcastle Benfield player danced around three Bishop defenders in front of the BBC cameras at Woodhorn Lane, inspiring a dominant ending to the game for Ashington.
