BURGESS HILL saw off Eastbourne Town thanks to goals from Kieran Rowe and Martyn Box. The hosts opened the scoring with what could be the goal of the round from Rowe. His cracking strike from 25 yards flew into the Town net. Hill were very good in the opening half and doubled the lead when Box volleyed home a right-wing cross.
Eastbourne Town immediately pegged back the hosts back six minutes into the second half, with James Waters acrobatically halving the deficit from a corner.
