REAL Bedford dominated the first half, controlling possession and effectively nullifying Welwyn Garden City’s long-ball threat.
They nearly broke the deadlock in the 17th minute when Ben Stevens was played through by Isaac Galliford, but his shot was straight at the keeper.
Josh Setchell created another chance in the 26th minute, driving into the box and finding Galliford, whose shot was blocked on the line. The half ended goalless.
