SILSDEN landed a one- blow to knock out two Atherton Collieries and end a wait to reach the FA Cup First Qualifying Round that has lasted 20 years.
The Cobbydalers did all the damage inside five second-half minutes. A lightning break after 51 minutes led to Sils going ahead when Luke Brooksbank cut back for inform Kayle Price to score his fifth goal in sixth outings.
