HEBBURN TOWN gained their revenge for a 2-1 defeat in the NPL Premier Division on Monday with a deserved cup victory at Borough Park.
They scored the only goal of the tie in the fifth minute but could have been four to the good within 15 minutes.
Joseph Posthill scored the goal when he latched on to a ball over the top from Oliver Martin and was able to steer the ball across keeper Alex Mitchell and into the net.
Soon afterwards, he was through again but this time Mitchell came out smartly to make a brave block at his feet.
