■ BASFORD United hammered Sporting Khalsa, with Jordan Hallam taking home the match ball. The hosts made their mark early with two first-half goals assisted by skipper Matt Thornhill, one a chipped pass to Hallam who beat the keeper oneon-one, and the second a free-kick whipped to the back stick where Ethan Stewart headed it home.
Tyler Dacres finished off a delightful team move for the third early in the second half. Moments later, Hallam got his second after another flowing move, before Josh Barnes rifled home Basford’s fifth.
