■ A PULSATING tie saw Merstham edge it with an unfortunate own goal in the 90th minute and just about deserve their place in the next round.
Merstham started brightly and took a 10th-minute lead from Korey Henry.
Alfie Rogers was then denied for the hosts by a brilliant last-ditch tackle from Dean Ponting.
The second half continued to provide an entertaining end to end battle.
