■ A TIGHT game between two evenly matched Step 2 sides was settled by Dan Lawlor’s first-half penalty as Enfield’s league woes were extended to the cup.
Four years ago, the Turbines knocked the Towners out on penalties, and it was another spot-kick that produced the same result after Joash Nebhard’s clumsy 35th-minute challenge on Michael Gyasi.
It was no more than the visitors deserved. They should have extended their lead when Michael Gash headed over, but when Billy Leonard came off the bench, Town looked a different team.
