IT CANNOT often be said that a game with such a one-sided final scoreline really hinged on a penalty miss with 20 minutes to go.
But had Jonathan Lacey put his spot-kick away Berko would have been 2-1 down and very much back in the game.
An early curler from Theo Alexandrou put Ives in front, but after that it wasn’t all plain-sailing.
Skipper Alex Collard forced home a second on the hour but then upended Luke Andrews to concede the penalty that Lacey screwed wide.
