CHESTER scored a stoppage time equaliser to save themselves from an FA Cup upset at Step Three Stockton Town.
The Anchors reached this stage for the first time by beating another National League North club in Marine.
Town had to rely on keeper Nathan Harker to stop early chances from Chester, including Charlie Caton inside the opening ten minutes when the ball broke to him. Caton was again denied by Harker a few minutes later.
Stockton did have one chance but Michael Fowler rifled over.
