THE FEAR OF LOSING WILL SPUR KYLE ON

IT may be almost a decade ago, but Kyle Letheren vividly recalls how it feels to be a Wembley loser.
As a teenager at Barnsley in 2008, the keeper watched from the bench as the Tykes’ fairytale FA Cup run ended in the semis at the hands of Cardiff. Which is why, today, he is determined to be on the right end of the result.
“I’ll never forget the day, or the aftermath,” says Letheren, who played for the likes of Kilmarnock, Dundee and then Blackpool before joining York in August.
