■EGHAM Town gave Shoreham a hiding as the home side took their bow in the FA Trophy.
The home side took a sixth minute lead from Brendan Matthew’s exquisitely curled shot, but let the visitors level as Evan Archibald punished some slack defending.
Mitchell Wiseman’s thumping header and Aaron Berry’s angled finish had Egham 3-1 up at half time.
Louis Stead, skipper in the absence of the holidaying Reece Yorke, hit two wonderful free kicks to make it 5-1. Aaron Berry pounced on some poor defending and Liam Tate fired in an injury time seventh.
