BASINGSTOKE Town were left counting the cost of wasted first-half chances as Dorchester scored twice after the break to progress.
Phil Ormroyd replaced home debutante Rory Fallon at the start of the second half and grabbed two goals.
After 52 minutes Sam Lanahan pulled a cross back from the byline for Ormroyd to power home. Then on 69 minutes a challenge by Shane Hollamby on Lanahan conceded a penalty which Ormroyd scored.
Sam Argent pulled a goal back in the fifth and final minute of stoppage time heading in from close range.
