Droylsden goalkeeper Ritchie Branigan was the star as the Bloods squeezed past Ossett Town. Branigan was busy early, finger-tipping away a Danny South header before twice denying Emile Sinclair.
Liam Caddick hit the bar for the visitors on 26 minutes before opening the scoring shortly after. Dominic Smith doubled their lead with a free-kick on 43 minutes.
Ossett pulled a goal back on 53 minutes through Alex Peterson, but Droylsden made the game saw in injury-time thanks to sub Seah Holden.
