SUTTON COLDFIELD saw two goalkeepers sent off in this defeat.
Stamford opened the scoring with their first attack after just two minutes as Bradley Fortnum-Tomlinson lobbed the advancing Nick Draper in the Sutton goal.
In the second half Stamford’s Henry Eze hit the crossbar with a rasping volley from 30 yards, before the hosts increased their lead with a penalty in the 55th minute when Draper was sent off for blocking Fortnum-Tomlinson’s run.
Kris Taylor went in goal but was unable to prevent Pearson Mwangyongo scoring.
