TWO first-half goals saw Shortwood United ease past Frome Town in their FA Trophy clash.
The home side took the lead just after the quarterhour mark as Marcus Mapstone was caught in possession and Sam Taylor opened the scoring.
And the hosts continued to dominate the play, deservedly doubling their lead on 41 minutes.
This goal was claimed by Jordan Morris but in truth he owed a lot to Frome Town goalkeeper Kyle Phillips whose poor clearance fell to the striker, with the stopper then getting a hand to the effort but it was not enough to keep it out.
