HAVANT& Waterlooville overcame a dogged Dorking Wanderers side to record their first home win in two months, courtesy of defender Jordan Rose’s two second-half strikes.
The Bostik League side showed some early intent when Lewis Taylor flashed a header just over. But the home side responded when Jason Prior put in Matt Tubbs, but his close range shot was superbly saved by keeper Slavomir Huk.
The visitors took a shock lead on 16 minutes when great work by Matt Briggs set up Giuseppe Sole for an easy far post tap-in.
