NATIONAL League South contenders Truro progressed to the first round of the FA Trophy with a comfortable – if slightly flattering – win over Lewes.
Despite the two-division gap between the sides, it was Bostik South side Lewes that dominated the early part of the game, but the Rooks struggled to turn possession into efforts on goal.
It was against the run of play when Truro took the lead in the 28th minute, and there was more than a slice of fortune about Chris Todd’s opener.
