Wellard ends record of 10-man Bulls

RICKY Wellard’s first-half header was enough to end Hereford’s sublime unbeaten away record of 52 matches at Grosvenor Vale.
Dara O’Shea was sent off for the second time in a week for the Bulls, just 14 minutes in after he appeared to body check Matty Whichelow when through on goal.
And the National League South Stones capitalised with Wellard heading Danny Green’s corner 12 minutes later.
Hereford began in the ascendancy, with Jamie Bird seeing two efforts fly over the crossbar in the opening ten minutes.
