SUTTON eased into the last 16 of the FA Trophy against their Bostik League opponents, but could only feel sure of the victory following two goals late on.
The visitors made a lively start and Niko Muir and Zack Joseph both went close before Sutton’s Tommy Wright glanced a header over from Tom Bolarinwa’s header.
The breakthrough came ten minutes before half-time when, after breaking up a Sutton attack, David Diedhiou could only clear the ball to Kieran Cadogan to cut in from the left to score.
