STOCKTON TOWN secured their place at Wembley for the very first time in only their second season in the FA Vase.
The Anchors crucially took a two-goal advantage into the second leg and got the job done in front of a roaring crowd of 1,800 despite Northern League rivals Marske United taking the tie right to the wire.
Staging both legs of the semifinal at their Bishopton Road stadium, owing to Marske’s waterlogged pitch, played right into Stockton’s hands with Michael Dunwell’s side making home advantage count on their 3G surface.
