■ THE SAINTS exited the FA Trophy in a match where they never got going.
It was a hugely disappointing performance as Chalfont struggled to get their attacking game going when it mattered most.
After Carl Dennison made a couple of good saves to keep the scores level; the visitors took advantage of a mistake to score through Matthew Briggs on the stroke of half-time.
Ten minutes into the second half Decarrey Sheriff added a second, and despite the Saints trying hard to get back into it, they rarely troubled the visiting keeper.
