■ A DOMINANT Cables display was more than enough to see off Kendal Town.
Cables dominated from the start and were rewarded for their early pressure when James Edgar scored.
They were further rewarded when Chris Almond found the net.
Cables effectively killed the tie in added time as Michael Monaghan slotted.
James Edgar was rewarded with a second goal in the 65th minute.
A late rally from Kendal saw Steven Yawson score. However, Cables scored again in the 87th minute when substitutes, Harry Cain and Jordan Southworth combined.
