A WOEFUL Alfreton performance flattered the visitors from the league below, who progressed through to the first round.
Farsley opened the game the better and capitalised when Nathan Cartman slotted home the opener after a ball in from the right caused problems in the hosts back line leading to an open goal.
Just before the break, the visitors doubled their lead. An acrobatic finish from James Spencer finished off a throw-in routine for Celtic.
