TAMWORTH eased past fellow Southern Premier Central side Leiston with a dominant performance.
The home side were comfortably in control at the break thanks to goals from Rhys Hoenes and Tyrell Waite before a Dan Creaney double put the gloss on things after half-time.
After a tight opening, where Waite and Jimmy Fry went close for the Lambs, Leiston’s resistance was broken on the half hour as Hoenes latched onto a through ball, skipped past Charlie Beckwith and slotted into the corner with aplomb.
