SAM Sheridan’s second half 25-yard thunderbolt was the difference between the two sides as Ashton United won at Warrington Town in a real game of two halves, the midfielder smashing home a Nicky Clee corner with his first touch.
The home side had dominated the first half from the early stages, creating several chances to open the scoring in the opening ten minutes.
