BERKHAMSTED opened the scoring through Josh Chamberlain but a brace from Charlie Stimson and an injury time goal from Marvin Morgan ensured it was Hornchurch who progressed into the second qualifying round of the FA Trophy.
Chamberlain prodded home a right wing cross to break the deadlock.
George Saunders twice went close for the hosts before Stimson equalised, latching onto a Chris Dickson pass and curling his effort wide of Berko’s keeper.
