A LATE goal from Michael Brewster sent Atherton Collieries into dreamland – and a first ever sojourn to the FA Trophy proper.
A much-changed Boston outfit, possibly with an eye on their lucrative FA Cup second round clash at Rochdale next weekend, bossed the early proceedings but the black’n’whites held firm and then got a decent foothold in the game. Both teams hit the the woodwork twice in an exciting first half.
