TOP DONS: AFC Wimbledon made it into the EFL within nine years

SIMON BASSEY fi rst walked through the Plough Lane turnstiles as a ten-year-old boy to see Wimbledon play Leicester City.
He was in the Wembley stands for the famous 1988 FA Cup final win over Liverpool and was in the youth set-up until he was released at 16.
