HIGHWORTH won their firstever FA Trophy tie at the fourth attempt.
In a close encounter with league rivals Winchester City, a goal from Callum Parsons, who converted an Ash Edenborough cross on 38 minutes, was followed three mins later by an Edenborough shot across the keeper.
Winchester were back in it on 48 minutes when Rob Flooks headed in from a Jamie Barron cross.
The visitors will rue missing the target twice from six yards and hitting a post late on, while Highworth were indebted to another inspired performance from keeper Connor Johns.
